Yoga for Core Strength

Create Stability, Balance, and Ease

Join me to explore the ever elusive and desirable ‘core strength’ March 25th at One Center Yoga from 1:00-3:00 pm.

The deep abdominal muscles known as the psoas are only one of the players involved in “core strength.” The design of this workshop is to explore all the muscle groups needed to create stability, balance, and ease of movement. A balanced core implies the ability to transfer your body weight from sitting to standing without using the arms as aids and is a prerequisite for managing low back pain.

If you are a yoga teacher this class will boost your understanding and give you new ideas and progressions to share with your students!

Learn to Trust Your Strength

Come away from this workshop having:

• Discovered both your stronger and weaker muscles

• Learned how to progress intelligently to create tone

• Built your confidence, as well as strength

Watch for my next Blog with a fresh view of the psoas muscle.
