If you answered yes to either of these questions, then this course is for you. At Transformation Yoga Trainings, we realize that not everyone wants to be a Yoga teacher, or can afford a year long commitment to study, yet many of you would love a program that is dedicated to expanding your knowledge in all realms of Yoga while increasing your commitment to practice. In our Life Transformation Program, you will enjoy five weekends that are created to expand your knowledge, establish a routine that can help make daily practice a reality, learn how to use Yoga to transform your body and thought patterns, and receive expert guidance and instruction from an experienced master teacher, Lillah Schwartz. In our school, we offer reliable mentorship helping you gain insight into how to integrate Yoga into your life and establish Yoga as your health and longevity guide. Students will be introduced to the fundamental principles in Yoga including the areas of asana, pranayama, philosophy, the anatomy of alignment, physiology, meditation and Yoga history. This course will deepen and develop a well-founded home practice, help you to break out of old patterns and discover the true path of Yoga, liberation.

Note: Students participating will have the option of following the schedule above or exchange the August and September weekends for 4 days on retreat August 3-7 for a small addition room and board fee. Curriculum will vary. Find a full curriculum list here.

Home Study Requirements

For the Life Transformation Program your home studies will include selected readings, study guides, and journaling your home practice options. Estimated time: 8 hours per week.


$1380  A deposit of $375 holds your place and is non-refundable. The deposit covers costs of the first weekend, manual and registration fees.

Pay Plan:

Administration of a payment plan adds $10 per payment/ per month ( approx 3%).

Payment Plan Options:

With registration & deposit on or before your Start Date

Deposit = $375 then, five payments of $211 to begin March 1st and auto billed monthly. Final payment is due on or before June 15, 2014.

We appreciate you purchasing your books with us. Either through our Online Store or our host studio The Embodiment Center. To assist in budgeting for the Life Transformation Training, you will only need to pay for the first 4 books on the list now and may purchase the rest at a future date.

  3. The Heart of Yoga by T.K.V. Desikachar; Practical application of simple yoga practices, philosophy and translation of yoga sutras, lots of nice interviews with Desikachar about his father Sri Krishnamacharya.
  4. Runner’s Yoga Book by Jean Couch; Practical knowledge of alignment, posture, and contraindications for the beginning practitioner.
